Vow renewals and engagement celebrations

A symbolic ceremony and the photographs to go with it. A celebration, not a legal marriage.

A couple in formal dress on the Giza rooftop at golden hour, her train laid out behind her, two pyramids clear on the horizon

No price on this page. This one is quoted rather than listed, because what it costs depends on the decoration, the venue and which extras you want. Tell us what you are planning and you will get a real figure, not a starting-from.

Who it is for

  • Couples marking a significant anniversary away from home.
  • Anyone who wants the ceremony they did not get the first time.
  • Small groups travelling together for the occasion.

What we deliver

  • A choice from our existing decoration designs, styled for a ceremony.
  • A rooftop with a view of the pyramids, confirmed with the venue.
  • Photography of the ceremony and portraits afterwards.
  • Colour-graded photographs delivered afterwards.

Optional

What you can add

Each of these says who actually provides it, because that is what decides how quickly we can confirm it.

  • A cinematic film of the ceremony

    We do this ourselves

  • A flying dress session afterwards

    We do this ourselves

  • Personalised signage and messages

  • Flowers and additional styling

  • A celebrant to lead the words

Where
A private hotel rooftop or an approved stage with a view of the Pyramids of Giza. These experiences are not held inside the archaeological complex, which is why there is no entry ticket and no gate to wait for.
How long
Two to three hours including the setup and the portraits.
How far ahead
A month is comfortable, because the venue, the styling and any musician all have to line up.

Before you plan around it

What has to be true

  • The rooftop belongs to a hotel, not to us. Every date is confirmed with the venue before anything is final, and some setups need their approval first.
  • A celebrant, if you want one, is arranged through a partner and confirmed separately.

Questions

Is this a legal marriage?

No, and we are being precise rather than cautious. This is a symbolic celebration. It creates no legal marriage in Egypt or anywhere else, we do not provide legal officiation, and nothing signed on the day has legal effect. If you need a legal ceremony, that is a separate process with your embassy and the Egyptian authorities.

Can we bring our own words?

Yes. Most people do, and nobody will ask to read them first.
